Cheers Dan, glad you like it matey. More images to follow regarding this technique, and it's a lot easy than it looks! It's a superb winging technique for micro spinners....more on that to come ;)

Gareth, count this as another Stroft vote from me... I've been using it for years, and like Andy can't see myself going back.

Just one thing, it's very, very limp, so droppers tend to tangle (solution: don't use droppers!)

Hi David, the body material is a plastic V-Rib-like material. To be honest, I was given the material when I tied at a show before Christmas so not too sure where you'd get it from. In essence though, it's exactly the same as the v-rib material...but costs less. Gives a nice segmented body doesn't it?

What is the body on that jig hook you used? Looks like wire?

Hey Lloyd,

From th above flies, the Klinkhamer and Reverse Para Emerger are true emerger patterns, with the others (excluding the pheasant tail nymph) being proper dry flies.

Klinkhamers and Para Adams are widely available in tackle shops, etc, although I'm yet to find a shop that offer them in the correct sizes and tied in as high a quality as mine. No big headed-ness about it, but I'm critical of my tying skills, nevermind shop bought offerings.

If you're interested in browsing my own range of flies available in my Fly Shop, simply click here.

All the very best and a happy new year!
