Too much rain!
I’m not being very good lately in regards to updating my blog…although in my defence, I have been fishing a lot and a HELL of a lot of planning for the upcoming Scotland trip I plan to go no with another fishing partner of mine…getting excited! Anyway…that’s another story for another time
Over the last few weeks, I’ve been doing a lot of fishing on the Taff, and with excellent results! The fish are really on to dries at the moment, with small (size 16 and upwards) CDC and Elk being the main culprit.
With that said, since last Thursday, the Taff has been out of play due to all this heavy rain we’ve been having…so, a spot of wild brownie fishing was called for on the Upper Neuadd Reservoir, which fished very hard! Also, the weekend saw me up at Usk Reservoir for a spot of stockie bashing.
The rains through South Wales subsided slightly yesterday afternoon, and the skies of kept dry all night and are clearing of cloud nicely…so, after work, I’ll be scrutinising the Taff (rod in hand of course), and will hopefully manage a few hours fishing!
