Gwent Angling Winter Fly Tying Classes
The Gwent Angling Society’s annual winter fly tying classes will be starting once again on Monday 21st November 2011 at Ponthir Village Hall, Caerleon, at 7pm-9pm. The event will run each Monday until the end of February 2012, and each week a fully qualified instructor will cover a broad spectrum of tying skills, styles, and patterns, as well as discussing how the flies being tied on the night might be fished and in what conditions. Whether you’ve been tying for a number of years or are just starting out, all are welcome! Each class includes all materials, vices, and tools, although if you have your own vice, feel free to bring it along.
The cost of each session will be £8.00 (as last year). We hope to see those who have attended previous year’s classes and welcome anyone who fancies giving the fine art of fly dressing a try.
If you have any queries or would like to register for this event, please contact the Gwent Angling Society.
